Busy busy busy!
Well it's been a very busy week!
On Tuesday we got our new DVD Camcorder, which we haevn't had much time to play with yet, but is really nice all the same.
On Thursday we got our new car. Neil went to pick it up from the dealer in Worcestershire. We got a Mitsubishi Grandis, and it's really great with 7 seats, leather, DVD for the kiddies in the back etc etc. Really comfortable and much more suitable than the SEAT. We've kept the SEAT though and are going to sell the Rover. Neil spent most of Monday clearing it out ready for sale, vacuming it, cleaning the insides, taking it through the car-wash and trying to polish out some of the scratches.
On Friday, Neil was off work and Jessi went to her friend's after school so we had most of a day to ourselves. We went to Makro to look at a trampoline they had on offer. They nearly didn't let us in as we were using Ele's dad's Makro card which wasn't signed, but they did in the end. We bought the trampoline as a suprise early birthday present for Jess. Thank goodness we had the new car to transport it home in!
Saturday Jess went off to cub camp for a few days, so it's been very quiet since then! We ended up spending more money on buying Joe a new car-seat and a pushchair. We got a great deal on the pushchair from a small shop in South Croydon, and they also had the car-seat we wanted which we couldn't find anywhere else. Joe seems to love his new seat, and the new pushchair is much easier to push around than the big old one, which was starting to fall apart a bit.
Sunday we also spent even more money as the lawnmower packed up... so it was off to B&Q to buy a new one. The new car is coming in very handy with all it's space!
Tommorow we pick up Jess from camp a day early as she is going to be an extra in a TV show on Thursday. We haven't told her about the trampoline yet so she'll be pleased with that, although we haven't built it yet because of the awful weather.
So it's been an expensive and busy week! Hopefully things will calm down a bit now.
-Neil
